Robert Mellin

Israel Melnikoff (September 22, 1902 – July 10, 1994), known professionally as Robert Mellin, was a Russian Empire-born American composer and lyricist and music publisher. He was born in Kyiv and raised in Chicago, where his first job was music plugger at Remick Music. In the early 1940s, he moved to New York, where he founded his own company in 1947.Marshall, Jim.
