Alphonsus Celestine Edmund Cassell MBE (16 November 1949 – 15 September 2010) was a Montserratian calypso and soca musician, regarded as the first superstar of soca from Montserrat.Thompson, Dave (2002) Reggae & Caribbean Music, Backbeat Books, , pp. 26–28.
