Startled Insects, later known as The Insects, are an instrumental English pop-jazz band.
Startled Insects began around 1983 in Bristol, England, as a collective of three producers/multi-instrumentalists, Tim Norfolk, Bob Locke and Richard Grassby-Lewis.
