Ramón Covarrubias Garza (born 8 December 1945), known by his stage name Ramón Ayala, is a Mexican singer, accordion player, composer and songwriter of Norteño music. He is also known as the "King of the Accordion". Ayala has won four Grammy Awards and received other recognitions for his career. In 2018 he received the keys to the city of Lynwood, CA.
