This poetic title comes from a very nice CD: Guido Gezelle in choral sounds. A number of composers set the poems. Edgar Tinel was probably the first to do so; four Advent songs have been recorded by him. The CD also contains settings by Flemish romantics such as Lodewijk Mortelmans, Lodewijk De Vocht and Joseph Rijelandt. Contemporary sounds are created by Vic Nees.
