Jan van Duikeren is best known as Candy Dulfer's trumpet player. … debut CD. He wanted to make a jazz record himself that would represent his own vision of jazz. In this case a mix between bebop, gospel, funk, soul, joy, good food and a free spirit. In doing so he could count on the cooperation of the crème de la crème of the Dutch musician world. Fingerprint goes deeper than most CDs on which Van Duikeren can be heard. All of the above ingredients are equally distributed. There is also a great love for the jazz funk that The Crusaders made in the seventies.
