This 1976 album consists of a number of intriguing and moody duets between saxophonist Jan Garbarek and guitarist Ralph Towner, occasionally supported sparingly by a brass ensemble. The main musicians on this album, however, are the gusts of wind from the North Sea. They play a hand-built wind harp that can be heard on the tracks Vandrere and Viddene. At Dis Garbarek laid the foundations for his esoteric and new age-like style, as far as you can speak of a firm anchoring in the ground in this music.
