Bombastic, 'gothic' organ sounds, relentless guitar riffs, ten times self-destructive drums and the unlikely voice of singer Dani Filth, these are also the ingredients of the dark metal sound of Cradle Of Filth on the fifth album. The music on Midian sounds like the artwork on the CD cover looks like: dark, ominous and shocking. Right in the vein of the countless Filth fans, but somewhat laughable
