Brothers Andrew and Peter Cash played in different bands for years, made more than ten albums together, but had never played together. In 1997 they found out that their voices were a good match, and How Was Tomorrow is their second album together. The album contains eleven country rock and folk tinged songs that sound very American. It is a fairly sober record that sometimes rocks (Take A Little
… Time, Nebraska) and is reminiscent of Tom Petty and John Cougar Mellencamp. Sometimes the brothers venture into country pop (The Only One, Nerve) and you associate the multi-part vocals with a band like The Jayhawks. How Was Tomorrow is a great record that will certainly be appreciated by Americana fans. (BP) _more
