German singer Nico (real name: Christa Paffgen) became especially famous for her contribution to The Velvet Underground's 'banana album'. The album Femme Fatale contains live recordings from 1983, when she made an impressive tour through Western Europe. In addition to a large number of her own compositions, she performs songs by David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown and (of course) Velvet Underground.
