After the breakup of The Spice Girls, Mel C was the only one in the bunch who showed serious musical aspirations. Melanie C has the talent to sing a song so enthusiastically that it seems like there is more to it than is actually the case. That means that this time with Here It Comes Again and Lose Myself In You she again has two healed hits in her hands. A ballad like the title track would have benefited from a smaller approach.
