A star is like a god and oh woe if you willingly step off your pedestal. For example, Tarkan, a rising star in Turkey in 1994, made the mistake during a live broadcast to indicate to the camera in unmistakable words that he had to go to the toilet. Its popularity declined, but fortunately not forever. In 1999 Tarkan conquered Europe with the hit Simarek and since then many fans have been waiting
… for an English-language album. Unfortunately, the textbook of this CD lacks even the translations, but the music is beautiful. The album Dudu consists of five original, acoustic-sounding songs and five remixes. Tarkan returns to his Turkish roots and even sings a classic: Uzun Ince Bir Yoldayim. The opening song Dudu is a wonderfully cheerful dance song with a catchy chorus, where you involuntarily start bouncing and shaking your shoulders. Gülümse Kaderine is a beautiful love song. The remixes on the album are more pop and equally compelling. (CP)more
