For years, Twista was only known as the fastest rapper ever, as officially recorded in the Guinness Book Of World Records. The syllables flew out of his mouth at lightning speed and without stuttering, while retaining (reasonable) intelligibility. … albums such as Twista followed, after which it became quiet for a long time around the rapper from Chicago. But thanks to star producer Kanye West, Twista is again in the spotlight in 2004. West produced the track Slow Jamz which became a huge hit (No. 1 in America), not least thanks to the pitched Luther Vandross samples, West's raps and the chorus of comedy actor Jamie Foxx. Slow Jamz is on Twista's 'comeback album' Kamikaze (2004). Twista proves that he can still let the words flow out of his mouth in no time, but that is actually his only merit.
