Masta Killa is one of the members of the Wu-Tang Clan. He only participated on one track of the legendary debut album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (1993), because he was in prison at the time. He later appeared on several Wu-Tang albums and as a guest rapper with other artists. However, their own single or album did not appear, and Masta Killa remained the unknown Clan member. His official website
… describes him as quiet and mysterious, and he is known for hardly ever saying anything in public. According to Masta Killa, this is because he is so serious about his work, but at least this mysterious image fits perfectly with the Eastern philosophies and martial arts with which the Wu-Tang Clan always surrounds itself. No Said Date (2004), Masta Killa's highly anticipated debut album, has become a true Wu-Tang Clan album, with productions from RZA and guest appearances from all the other Clan-MCs. Rumor has it that these songs have been shelved for several years and therefore don't just happen to sound like a throwback to the old 'Wu sound', but whether this is true or not, fans of the Wu-Tang Clan are stuck with No Said. Definitely date well. (IV)more
