In 2005, Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel (real name Dwight Grant) was sentenced to several years in prison for illegal possession of weapons. Before he went to jail, Sigel quickly completed his third CD The B. Coming, made five video clips in five days and played in a film (State Property 2). … several years in the underground. His debut album The Truth was released in 1999 and after his second CD The Reason (2001), a successor was eagerly awaited.
