… on breakbeat from the early nineties as created by acts like Black Machine and Jestofunk (the music from Keep Me Home has even been literally copied), on the other hand the echoes of the big beat from the end of the nineties clearly through. The interpretation is drawn from funk, jazz and Latin. Boogie Angst, however, proves that there is a strong need for this sound. Yet the gentlemen do not go for the least resistance as can be heard on 5 To 4 and Danse Macabre, where the dance floor idea is exchanged for more depth. (AD)more
