From that moment on, their lives turned into an appalling chaos consisting of flying back and forth to gigs and press conferences, being away from home for months and waking up in strange hotel rooms without realizing what continent you are in. … plus the pressure to match Connected, they delivered Deep Down & Dirty in 2001. This CD went down in history as one of their most grim and dark productions. Fortunately, the Stereo MCs have come to rest again in 2005. Rapper Rob Birch, who until recently looked as if he had fallen into a barrel of amphetamine, even looks healthier than ever.
