It's hard to hear anything back on Red Book from the guitar band the way Texas once started. The Scottish group seems to have become more and more only singer Sharleen Spiteri, although the original group members are still participating somewhere. This is evident from the credits of this CD. Red Book recruited producers who previously collaborated with Gwen Stefani and Girls Aloud, and the CD has

The songs ripple on quietly, Spiteri has a pleasant voice, and so it goes on for twelve songs and 45 minutes. Special guest vocalist is Paul Buchanan of the group The Blue Nile, in the song Sleep. Red Book is a nice CD, but that's it. (IV)more
