Perhaps it is precisely that aspect of Benny that translates into casual jazzy pop songs, which means that he can remember the necessary interest abroad, while it continues to make do in the Netherlands. Whether we hear Benny at home or in the concert hall, the result does not differ substantially. It remains a special sound: through his lofi approach, emphasized by his uneducated voice, he knows how to make the jazz pop genre, originally so stylized, sound fresh again. (MS)more
