In the world of The Coral it will always be 1966/1967. … full of light psychedelic sixties pop with injections of country and folk. The references with the aforementioned names are very clear, but with memorable melodies and meticulous instrumentations there is no tendency towards epigonism. Their sound, in which acoustic rhythm guitars, subtly wailing electric guitars and ghostly organ parts dominate, even has something fresh.
