After Daryl-Ann broke up, singer / guitarist Anne Soldaat took to the solo path. First under the name Do The Undo, later just under his own name. Another Life was shot in America under production direction by Jason Falkner. Unknown to many, but as a guitarist for Jellyfish he was a member of one of the best pop bands of the nineties. … Air, Beck and Paul McCartney, among others. A perfect sparring partner for Soldier, as can be heard on In Another Life. Whether it's a strong rocker like Rubitin or a beautiful acoustic song like Birdfights: Falkner made it all a bit fuller, tighter and tighter than we are used to from Soldier. That vocals sometimes lack some convincing power hardly disturbs.
