… albums by and produced) were the perfect counterbalance to the highly flammable singer. They wrote a full and richly orchestrated album that is a lot more soulful than we are used to from Anouk. The first single Three Days In A Row still shows the familiar Anouk sound, but In This World sounds like a classic soul stump and in the beautiful Lay It Down the singer consumes the heartbreak of her last relationship.
