The Briton sings about his youth and the family problems that played a role at the time, but current events in his environment also provided inspiration. He wrote the sensitive Fighting Since The Day We Are Born for his sick father. The subtle Everyday Life is also beautiful. There are no real striking songs to discover, but Gold Dust is certainly not inferior to Jeremiah's debut album. And that is partly due to the sixty-piece Metropole Orchestra. (BvdV)more
