… turned around, especially keyboardist (the most down-to-earth band member) sputtered. But in 1974, Tales From Topographic Oceans appeared in a beautiful cover by house designer Roger Dean. What was supposed to be their magnum opus almost became the Troy of Yes. Opinions were very divided, angry tongues even claim that with these kind of freaky records people got the need for rock 'n' roll again. In this way Yes would almost have started the punk wave of '76 -'77. Wakeman left and at concerts only the opening song The Revealing Science Of God held up. British musician and producer provided the recordings with new mixes (stereo and surround).
