Rammstein had to wait ten years and before the release of the follow-up to Liebe Ist Für Alle Da (2009) kicked the shins with the controversial clip that accompanies the song Deutschland. It takes such a long time to create a new album, but Rammstein shows exactly what you can expect from them. Fans of the first hour can therefore breathe and indulge themselves with this album, which Rammstein
… shows in its purest form. Tight nu-metal with thumping riffs and lyrics that are on the tipping point of hilarious and shocking. With Radio, the group cleverly recycles the synths and riff from Du Hast, but the creepy Puppe is the absolute highlight of the album: a wonderfully macabre song in which Till Lindemann moans like mad about what he does to a doll. "Es geht nicht gut," he shouts. Well, when listening to this album we believe that Rammstein is doing fine again. (JvQ)more
