Lars Bos from Deventer came into the spotlight at the beginning of 2018 after his winter session at 101Barz was viewed no less than 1.5 million times. His first EP (2018) could also count on millions of streams and with his single Scars he earned both a Gold and Platinum record in 2019. What is refreshing about Snelle is that he does not fully dive into the cliché subjects of hip-hop. Self-mockery… and humor are important to Bos and with his lyrics he often reflects on himself. Snelles music is a combination of sharp lyrics and smooth beats that are nice and smooth in the ear. He was therefore tipped by Radio 538 as an artist to keep an eye on in 2019.
