They succeeded wonderfully, during the recording of Abbey Road no discord was heard and the album contains some of the most beautiful songs from their oeuvre. … band members. Paul McCartney would later go on to albums such as and Elaborating on the medley of side B. John Lennon gives a taste of the stripped-down rock of his first solo albums with Come Together and I Want You (She's So Heavy). But the biggest revelation was the contributions of George Harrison, who signed for the highlights of the record with Something and Here Comes The Sun. It was not surprising then that it was his solo career that was (initially) the most successful. Above all, Abbey Road was a triumph for George Martin; the production was to die for and his orchestral arrangements anticipated the symphonic rock of the seventies.
