Fat Pop almost resembles an album of collected work from various decades, as far as the diversity of songs and instrumentations is concerned. The album opens with energetic synthpop, but we also hear powerful guitar rock and power ballads with strings. Weller proves with his latest albums that quality and quantity can go hand in hand.
