… album. He's not a great songwriter (his brother is) and his clichéd concoctions wink wearily at the anthemic stadium-brit pop of Oasis. Here and there a phone-in-the-air ballad, after which another beer can be hopped up on a flat rock song with meaningless lyrics and mannered sneer vocals. On stage he still has the Oasis hits to fall back on. Without his background, the meager C'Mon You Know would probably pass completely by a large audience.
