Keyboard player Mark Ramos-Nishita, aka Money Mark, played on the Beastie Boys' albums Check Your Head (1992) and Ill Communication ('94). In 1995 he released his first solo record Mark's Keyboard Repair, an album of mostly instrumental lo-fi Hammond organ songs. Money Mark's second solo album Push The Button differs from its predecessor in a few ways. The album has been produced with more attention
… and contains, in addition to the already well-known instrumentals, a number of (guitar) pop songs, which are sung by Money Mark with a not always clear voice. The music on Push The Button is a pleasantly naive, sometimes messy mix of pop, blues, funk and soul. Outliers are: Tomorrow Will Be Like Today, Underneath It All and Hand In Your Head. (WvdZ)more
