After firing their popular drummer Mike Portnoy in 2010, the remaining four members of the American group Dream Theater had a lot to explain to their fans. This happened mainly in a creative way, with the strong album A Dramatic Turn Of Events (2011) after which the group went on a world tour to introduce new drummer Mike Mangini. This double DVD was recorded during that tour in the Luna Park stadium
… in Buenos Aires. After Mangini's virtuoso drum solo, strategically placed early in the concert, we don't need to talk about Portnoy anymore. Dream Theater is in top form in a spectacular show full of complex and epic prog metal and with singer James LaBrie as an energetic front man who, with his exuberant presentation, ensures that the music does not get bogged down in mere virtuoso display. Dream Theater can also rock in repertoire with an emphasis on A Dramatic Turn Of Events. As we are used to from this group, this product leaves nothing to be desired, with exemplary sound and image, a beautiful design and for fans essential bonus material such as a documentary and informal backstage images.
