After several editions of his year-change party Stout & Nieuw (2007-2008) it became quiet around Gerard Joling. At least, as far as his solo career is concerned, because it never really gets quiet around Geer. He often collaborated, but only climbing the podium was not an option. … Countries. Lekker In De Ziggo Dome is a registration of a crazy show. The pedigree entertainer welcomes the packed hall with a show ballet and dazzling light show and a number of old hits. Pretty impressive already, but then all the costume changes (lots of feathers and glitter) are yet to come. With Gordon and Jandino there are also nice guest appearances, although the show is stolen by the contribution of the Frisian sisters of Maywood. The second disc contains many nice extras including the intriguing documentary An Hour With. Joling elaborates on the production behind the show. Wonderful to hear Joling talk seriously about his artistic choices and his passion for the profession. This professional again entertained us very well. (JE)more
