The Eindhovenaar Peter Koelewijn scores with his band The Rockets a huge hit with Come From That Dak Af in 1960, the first Dutch rock and roll single ever. If several years erupts beat craze, it seems to be last in the career of Koelewijn. But as a producer he proves equally successful, with artists such as Q65 and Ronnie and Ronnie. Then the unexpected happens: Come From That Dak Af again a hit,… a feat in 1971 he will repeat twice the same song.
In the seventies, he picks up his rock and roll career back on, the Rockets still further into the background. Whenever anything less is as a performer, picks Koelewijn his career as a producer again.
