The quartet Supersister was at the end of the sixties, established in The Hague. Musically joined the group in the work of English progressive rock groups of the time. A strong element that the group was able to distinguish the dry humor which was formed an integral part of their live shows. That humor and the fact that three of the four band members wore glasses, gave Supersister a collegiate image.
In 1973 left two members of the first hour. The remaining duo drew with the next album Iskander more towards jazz rock. A disappointing sales ensured that the group a year later fell apart. In 2000 the group, at the request of a small but fanatical fan base came to the group especially had built in the United States, back together for a successful reunion.more
