In his short life knew the Texan guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan great impression to make. Inspired by his brother Jimmy Vaughan Stevie picked up at an early age the guitar. He dropped out of school and played in many bands. One of those bands developed into Double Trouble, his subsequent solid backing band. SRV, as he is affectionately called by his fans, knew influences from blues and rock together
… to forge an original sound. That he was in the eighties the main guitarist of his generation. Unfortunately Vaughan could not enjoy the fame. He died on August 27, 1990 in a helicopter crash.more
