Influential rock band formed in 1989 in the desert of Southern California. Kyuss live in did not have much success, but it 'stoner' sound of the group was often copied by (less talented) imitators. Big man was in Kyuss guitarist Josh Homme. Parties, sometimes played by a bass amp, ranging from languid beech riffs to subtly twisting guitar lines.
