Gary Moore went through the same school as many of his contemporaries. At age eight he got his first runs play and after hearing the Beatles, he immerses himself in the blues. Having released two albums with the band Skid Row, he rolled in with Thin Lizzy. With this group he recorded the album Black Rose (1979) on. Moore released many solo albums with blues rock sound, but with Still Got The Blues
… (1990), he hit the jackpot and suddenly he also scored in the Netherlands two top 10 hits. Moore was still very active when he died suddenly on February 7, 2011 from the effects of a heart attack.more
