Martha and the Vandellas was one of the few Motown girl groups which could compete with the Supremes. In the Netherlands, the group best known for the hits (Love Is Like) A Heat Wave (1963) and Dancing In The Streets (1964) but in America the girls trio scored 26 hits in nine years.
