Pianist Oscar Peterson (Canada, 1925) was one of jazz artists with the most recorded albums. At the beginning of his career he collaborated with producer Norman Granz and since the fifties he was one of the pillars of Granz 'labels (Verve and Pablo). Peterson worked mainly in trio ensembles alternating guitar & bass or bass and drums, but also did solo performances and concerts with larger groups
