Jack Bruce was best known as the bassist of Cream, the legendary rock trio he formed with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. The four years in Cream formed only a small part of Bruce's impressive career in which he jazz, blues, (hard) rock and even classical music played. … apart Bruce brought a number of solo albums which testified to his eclectic taste. He played with a variety of musicians together, such as Frank Zappa (on his album Apostrophe), Robin Trower (group BLT), Gary Moore (BBM in the group, again with Ginger Baker) and John McLaughlin. In 2003 showed that Bruce had cancer. A liver transplant saved his life and two years later he played four sold-Cream reunion shows at the Royal Albert Hall.
