Pierre-Olivier Lapie (2 April 1901 – 10 March 1994) was a French lawyer, politician, writer, and freedom fighter.
In 1936, Lapie was elected deputy under the Popular Front but was mobilized into service at the outbreak of World War II in 1939. He took part in the Norwegian campaign in February 1940 before joining Free France. He was then appointed Governor of Chad in November 1940, succeeding Félix Éboué.
