Dario Marianelli (born 21 June 1963) is an Italian composer. Marianelli was born in Pisa, Italy. He studied piano and composition in Florence and London. After a year as a postgraduate composer at the Guildhall School of Music, he took up a three-year postgraduate program at the National Film and Television School in London, from which he graduated in 1997.
