Toon Hermans (1916-2000) belonged to Wim Sonneveld and Wim Can the 'Big Three' of the Dutch cabaret. Hermans grew up the son of a bank clerk in the Limburg Sittard. Through the carnival circuit he rolled his theater and was groundbreaking with 'one man show' in which he was seen for the first time on television in 1958. Besides lecturer Hermans was also a meritorious singer, writer and painter.
