Morris Chapman

Morris H. Chapman (born November 21, 1940) was elected president and chief executive officer of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Executive Committee on October 1, 1992.
In September 2009 he announced that he would retire from this position effective September 30, 2010.
Chapman was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi on November 21, 1940.
