R. Prasanna (better known as Guitar Prasanna), is a pioneer in performing Carnatic music on the guitar. He also plays jazz, progressive rock, and world fusion. Prasanna grew up in Chennai, India and fell in love with the guitar aged five after hearing his neighbor play.
