Also pay attention to the lyrics: the thank you to writer JD Salinger (The Catcher In The Rye) shows where the 24-year-old American gets the mustard, while in Sprinter and the heartbreaking The Harshest Light she puts an end to her strict religious upbringing. That Torres on her second, like Angel Olsen a year earlier, chooses a more rock-oriented approach, is probably a bit of a swallow for fans of her debut. But for fans of the genre this is mandatory.
