After the polished Silver Tongue (2020) failed to bring about the hoped-for turnaround, the now 30-year-old singer-songwriter is now picking up where she left off with the rock-solid Sprinter (2015). The opening track Are You Sleepwalking thunders over you like an intercity, followed by the possibly even more catchy Don't Go Puttin Wishes In My Head. Experiments with electronics (Kiss The Corners) and industrial (Keep The Devil Out) are still there, but they're all about the song. So on Thirstier we hear a reborn artist, with a world to reclaim.
