When saxophonist Candy Dulfer struck in 1989 at the age of 21 with David Stewart (Eurythmics) composed single Lily Was Here, no more calls her "the daughter of Hans Dulfer. The number reaches to the No. 1 position in the UK and Netherlands. With her own band Funky Stuff Dulfer looking much more funk in the corner. Her talent was noticed by Prince and plays on his albums Graffitti Bridge and Batman.
In her later solo albums she plays jazz dance and R & B. The list of interesting artists who works Dulfer is impressive. A small selection: Aretha Franklin, Maceo Parker, Van Morrison, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Pink Floyd.more
