Beryl Cyril "Jack" Sheldon Jr. (November 30, 1931 – December 27, 2019) was an American singer, actor, comedian, and one of the most distinctive trumpet players of his generation, with an immediately identifiable sound. He was a member of the band on The Merv Griffin Show and participated in episodes of the educational music television series Schoolhouse Rock!, where he became known for his distinctive voice.
