Ex-art student Kevin Coyne (1944-2004) works as a social therapist before becoming a musician in a small group acquires fame. Besides the music Coyne is active as a painter, poet and artist. He made his debut with barely noticed Case History ('72), after a series of compromise, a commercial on the press praised follows albums. … in his native England. In the ever-changing occupancy band that accompanies him during that period on the podium we find names like Andy Summers (later of The Police), Zoot Money and Peter Woolf. In the eighties fell slowly with Coyne, who suffered from alcoholism and depression. After a nervous breakdown, he met his German wife, after which he moved in Nuremberg, Germany. His records are hardly available. On December 2, 2004 Kevin Coyne dies at age 60 from the effects of lung disease. (MS)more
